If you need to move some wood with your chisels, this is the mallet you need. I do wish the weight was a little better seated in the head of the mallet. Very quiet and easy on the elbow.

Description of QUIET 30 OZ MALLET

This high quality line of quiet mallets is guaranteed unbreakable. The heads are made of a tough urethane material designed to be quiet, and yet able to transmit the maximum blow to the tool. The handles are beautifully turned out of selected, premium New England hardwoods. They are polish sanded. Our mallets come in four popular weights of 12, 18, 20 and 30 ounces. Both the 12 ounce and 18 ounce mallets have a small urethane head of 2 3/4" diameter. The 20 ounce and 30 ounce mallets have a urethane head of 3 1/2" diameter.
